The inspiration for the name of the company came from the idea of turning raw into awe.
Just as a caterpillar is transformed into a beautiful butterfly.
Cocoon Woodworking honestly believes this to be true with man as well. And, in holding to that belief we support local organizations that help transform lives by purchasing raw materials from, donating to, or volunteering for them.

Our process is rooted in traditional woodworking techniques and modern technology. We start with carefully selected, sustainably sourced wood. Most of which is harvested right here in Indiana. To add a bit of accent to our pieces we use some exotic imported woods. We believe that attention to detail and quality craftsmanship are essential to creating pieces that are both beautiful and functional.
